Hudson expanding to meet growing digital demand

Hudson is expanding its Technology, Change and Digital Transformation division in the Midlands.

The strategic decision was taken to grow this area of the business in Birmingham where there are strong communities of start-ups and digital creative agencies emerging around the ‘Silicon Canal’.

The team will be headed up by Noa Muratsubaki, Senior Consultant at Hudson, who has over 5 year’s recruitment experience working in the tech and embedded technology space and has re-located from the Reading office to Birmingham to support the growth of the practice.

The current Hudson recruitment team will be bolstered with significant investment in new head count, specifically Consultants who have Social, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud technologies as well as Project/Programme Managers, Executives and Leadership roles within the Tech, Change and Digital Transformation space.

Stuart Packham, Regional Director for Hudson’s Technology, Change and Digital Transformation division said:

“We chose to expand our offering in Birmingham due to the strong sector focus and growth in this City in EdTech, Software Development and Marketplace and Lead Generation.

Digital employment stands at 20,000, and with the added value of Birmingham’s cluster benefits, key capabilities, and leading local universities, we’re confident that the talent base is only going to get stronger”

Noa Muratsubaki, Practice Lead for Hudson Birmingham said:

“Over the past twelve months, we have seen an increase in demand for tech and digital talent as organisations progress through their digital transformation journey.

“But as traditional career paths as we know it become increasingly disrupted, we’re advising our clients to search out those candidates who have the right mindset over skillset, ones that can adapt and innovate to adapt to the increasingly volatile and competitive environment. Understanding what talent you need now and in the future, has never been more challenging”.
