The legal team at Hudson have expanded their legal offering to the world of Barristers’ Chambers.  Experienced recruiter and Head of Legal, Sarah Manning, together with ex Barristers’ Clerk Jed Watson and Managing Consultant, Edward Hafner, are adding a Chambers arm to their already well respected legal department.  With excellent Chambers staff hard to come by, our team can offer a flexible and tailored approach for you to find the people you need.  We are able to assist with barrister, clerking, HR and financial hires.  All instructions are handled with utmost discretion. 

Together the team have almost 20 years’ experience within the recruitment market.  We are committed to building long lasting relationships and believe that a consultative, discreet approach is paramount to success.  In addition to both Sarah and Edward’s own private practice experience, Jed has 3 years’ experience as a Barristers’ Clerk, having worked for leading family law set, 1KBW.  Collectively, the combined nature of our commercial legal recruitment and clerking experience, means our team are well placed to support you in all your hiring needs. 

Through experience of each our team can help you with retained, search and selection and contingent recruitment. We are also able to offer innovative or fixed fee arrangements, based around the best solution for your recruitment needs.  

As part of our thorough screening and compliance process, we meet candidates for an initial registration. We ensure that we are fully abreast of their work history, experience, responsibilities, motivations and aspirations.  The candidates we work with are assessed against in relation to the key criteria of a particular job specification and it provides a good opportunity for us to drill down into the candidate’s key drivers and benchmark their capabilities.  If we are satisfied with the candidate’s suitability for a position, we discuss with them our client’s opportunity; acting as ambassador for the firm/chambers at all times.

We only put forward candidates to our clients that have been briefed on a position and who we feel confident are suitable for the role. It is our mission to provide quality well matched hires that will save the employers time. When our candidates are invited to interview we brief them fully on the position and what to expect. We can offer interview suites for employers to use if needed, and in addition to the interview process we are equipped to run assessments as part of the recruitment process if required.
