Meet Andy

I didn’t set out to be a recruiter. In fact I started out in investment banking. But as the financial crisis hit London in 2008, like some many others in the City I needed to look for alternative opportunities that matched my skills-set and experience in the sector.

Making the move to recruitment felt like the right fit and to be honest, its paid off. Its added an extra layer of credibility to my offering when I go out and meet my clients. Because I work across the mid-senior level sales roles, this could be business development, account management or relationship management positions, I can talk from personal experience about the skills and attributes required, as well as offer my view from the recruiters chair.

I joined Hudson just over a year ago and the work/life balance is absolutely spot on. We work as a team, support success, share in the results and contribute to overcome any problems or issues that crop up.

Like anywhere there’s a real mix of personalities. But Hudson has a knack of attracting people from different backgrounds who can pull together as a team and work across the different functions. It really is quite unique.

I think as the recruitment world changes, Hudson are ahead of the game. You only have to look at the range of assessment tools we can offer our clients to support their selection and hiring decisions, it really is world-class.
